The Myth of the Crore CTC
The crore CTC: While the myth of landing a 1 crore package is pervasive, the reality paints a different picture. In 2022, out of 1100 students, only around 80 secured 1 crore CTC positions, primarily from the best college, IIT Bombay. This figure is further reduced when including other IITs. Therefore, it’s crucial to have realistic expectations and not build your ambitions around such unrealistic promises.
Mental Health and Academic Pressure
Suicides: The alarming rise in student suicides has brought mental health issues to the forefront.
